The Upbeat Charts provide a model for the student's own written compositions - as well as the catalyst for other music- making activities such as playing skills and refinement of rhythm and pitch reading. After using the play-along CD-ROM for their own compositions, students may write their own instrumental or movement charts for favourite recordings - an authentic purpose for music writing!
All beginners (at any year level) may use the charts.
